I am a tax attorney and Mississippi Certified Public Accountant with over a decade of experience advising families, business owners, fiduciaries, and financial institutions. I founded this firm to provide strategic estate, business, and tax counsel without the inefficiencies and layers of a large firm.

As a tax attorney with extensive experience in accounting, I advise families, business owners, fiduciaries, and financial institutions on matters that require careful judgment and thoughtful planning. My practice focuses on estate planning and administration, closely held business structuring and transactions, and integrated tax strategy.

Before establishing this firm, I practiced at a large regional law firm and a boutique transactional firm, advising families, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses on estate planning, fiduciary administration, mergers and acquisitions, capital transactions, securities compliance, and state and local tax matters. That experience, combined with an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law and a background in accounting, allows me to approach each matter through both a legal and financial lens.

I am licensed to practice in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee and have been recognized by Best Lawyers® as “Ones to Watch” in Trusts & Estates and Tax Law.

Outside the office, I value time with my wife, Julia, our three young children, and our golden retriever, Molly. I also enjoy college sports, hunting, and shooting clays - pursuits that reinforce the importance of preparation and discipline.
